Investigating the humorous themes in Qaiser Aminpour's poetry

Abstract

Among the literary types, "humor" is the most committed literary type and it appears in the work of a poet or writer when there are elements of commitment and responsibility in their thought. In contemporary literature, "Qeysar Aminpour" is considered among the poets whose poetic themes are mostly in the service of society and its related issues; Therefore, he sometimes uses humor as an artistic tool to express his thoughts and make society reflect and correct social anomalies. Social changes and public culture are one of the most important reasons for the spread of this artistic technique in Qeysar's poetry. In his poems, satire (like satire in the period of Indian style) appears only in words and some selected verses, which are the product of the poet's imagination and language games. This is one of the reasons that adds to the intimacy of his poems with the audience. In this article, the effects of humor in Qeysar Aminpour's poems are classified in different contexts. The humorous topics in his poems mainly include his social criticism. The form of his humor is often the result of combining paradoxical elements, irony, use of colloquial language and language games. In this article, satirical methods and themes in Qeysar Aminpour's poetry have been examined and reflected upon.
