It seems that after Forugh Farrokhzad, the first method poet in modern Persian poetry is Tahereh Saffarzadeh. Although she published her first work in the early 40s, the 50s should be considered as her heyday. Saffarzadeh, publishing a series of poems by Tanin Dar Delta, Sad va Bazovan (1971) and Safar-e Panjom (1977), showed special creativity and quickly became the center of attention of poets and critics. The purpose of this study is to review the poetic style and analyze her views on poetry. This paper has a descriptive-analyse approach that uses library and documentary methods. First a brief introduction to the position and importance of this poet in contemporary poetry is mentioned and then the most important features of her poetry have been studied and analyzed, while explaining Saffarzadeh's theory of poetry.
