Document Type : مروری

Abstract

In its long journey, Persian ritual poetry has seen capable poets. One of them is Hassan Kashi, one of the Shiite poets of the 7th and 8th centuries of Hijri. Apart from the praises of the family of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), especially the Commander of the Faithful, Hazrat Ali (PBUH), he didn’t write a poem; Therefore, we call him the poet of Amir al-Mu’minin. His poems are of special importance from the point of view of content and themes, language combinations and ease of expression. Considering the predominance of Sunni poets in the 7th and 8th centuries, as well as the role of Hasan Kashi in the spread of Shiism in Iran, it is necessary to examine his poems. The purpose of this article is to investigate the poetic style and Shiite themes in Hassan Kashi's poems. The result of this research shows that, despite the constraints and strictures, Shiite poetry in the seventh and eighth centuries, like the fourth, fifth and sixth centuries, was dynamic, and Hassan Kashi is a capable poet by using Shiite thought, describing Hazrat Ali (a.s.) and dealing with Shiite themes in the field of thematization, imagery and language, and his poems are unique.
