Abstract

Mir Yahya Qazvini is one of the great historians of tenth century and the writer of the outstanding book Lob al-Tavarikh who fell out of favor of Safavid court in the last days of his life due to political reasons and religious excuses. Because of this, his children went to India in fear of punishment. This matter not only was considered as a success for the court of Indian Timurids to use the scientific capacity of this family but also put such family among the politically and culturally influential families. From among them Mir Abdul Latif and his son Mir Qias al-Din Ali Akhund and ‘Ala al-Dole Kami Qazvini played more important role in this historical period. In spite of all significance of this family there is no comprehensive and documented research about them. Using main sources, this article proposes new information about this family and their works for the first time.
