The discussion about the history of literature, its necessity and how to compile it is one of the topics that has been the focus of researchers and literary critics especially in the last two decades, and each of them has looked at the history of literature from different perspectives, introduced problems to the published books of literary history, and made suggestions in order to eliminate the shortcomings and provide the necessary grounds for compiling the history of literature, which is the common feature of the critics. In the comments, it is inferred that some of them are determined to dedicate the history of literature to purely literary texts and avoid the study of scientific texts, which until now has been considered by the historians of literature.
