Abstract

Obtaining a text that is close to what was created by the poet's or writer's mind and has more affinity with their writing is one of the constant concerns of researchers. For this reason, the works of Persian literary masters have been corrected and revised many times. However, this procedure has not been done for Abdul-Qadir Bidel. This small concideration is far from fair for a poet as great as Bidel, who has an undeniable role in the development and expansion of Persian language and literature. This research aims to investigate the works done on Bidel's Koliyat, to introduce three manuscripts of "Maulana Azad" library (Islamic University of Aligarh), copy 1131 of "Reza-Rampur" library and copy 381 of Khodabakhsh library in "Patna". The method of doing the work in the first part is to compare and criticize the works done in this field based on the examples provided and in the second part to analyze the characteristics, shortcomings and highlights of each manuscript copy by mentioning manuscriptology reasons and examples. The necessity of the research is the absence of revised textual criticism from Bidel’s Koliyat, and the introduction of three manuscripts as versions that can be cited in a scientific textual criticism is the result that this research is looking for.
