Research on cultural issues and materials used by people and various aspects of Persian speakers’ lives, which definitely had a direct impact on the literary texts of the same people, is one of the basic needs of literary research. One of the most widely used materials in the life of Iranian tribes is a material called musk. This material has played such a fundamental role in their lives that its name can be seen in various types of books - literary books, books of wonders, geographical books, vocabulary, etc. – and it also has had a wide impact in Persian literature and especially our poetic literature. In this research, the various and very wide applications of musk and its reflection in Persian poetic literature and as a result the explanation and clarification of some poems, verses, ironies, metaphors, etc. have been discussed.
