عنوان مقاله [English]
The Qajar period is one of the most turbulent periods in the history of Persian language and literature. This is due to several factors, the most important of which is the significant change in the Persian language (written) due to political, scientific, cultural, military, etc. connections with the West. The establishment of Dar ul-Funun, the great movement of translation, the writing of travelogues by many people who have been Farang (foreign countries), the spread of newspapers, the growth of people's awareness, the emergence of the Constitutional Revolution, etc., have been influential in changing the face of the Persian language (including vocabulary, prose, etc.). The most influence of Persian language in terms of military vocabulary (from European languages) in this period was from French, and English and Russian languages are in the next order; However, the most influence of military words from eastern languages in this period has been from Turkish and Arabic, which have historical, political, cultural and religious roots. At the end of the Qajar period, some military commanders noticed the unlimited entry of foreign military words into the Persian language, and from 1300 A.H. onwards, they tried to fix this defect, and finally, this sense of commitment in the field of preserving the status and dignity of the Persian language led to the establishment of the Iranian Academy.t
