Novel in Persian literature was a new literary genre that became popular in parallel with Mashrooteh. This literary genre was emerged in Iran at the same time as the new social era and realism and social issues became one of its main themes. The realistic novel in Iran has always been in interaction with social institutions and the authors generally considered expressing social issues to be a kind of duty for themselves. One of the social themes presented in Persian novels is the theme of family. The concept of family plays a key role in most Iranian novels and the main character of the story is always introduced within the family. Dealing with the roles that humans play in the family illustrates the realities of society. The main problem of this research is how family relations are created in the Persian novel from the beginning to the 50s. Depending on the political and social conditions prevailing in each era, the way of paying attention to this issue is different. In many cases، writers in the form of limited family relationships depict the unlimited social aspects and use the relationships among family members as an example to pose social problems.
