One of these controversies concerns the claim that Nima fabricated the dates of his poems. The claim was made during Nima's lifetime and has been raised again in recent years and caused considerable debate. Poets and critics from two opposing fronts have made this claim: first, those who were more radical than Nima in breaking away from tradition and considered Nima a reformer rather than a revolutionary poet, and secondly those who considered Nima too radical and were in favor of a more conservative or moderate type of modernism. In this article, we examine the history of this controversy and assess the robustness of the evidence presented to support it. Through this analysis, an intriguing observation is made concerning the dating of Nima's poems. It is revealed that Nima sometimes initially composed his poems in prose, dating them at the end, and subsequently transformed them into verse while retaining the original date. This practice has likely led some researchers to suspect Nima of falsifying the date of the poem “Qorab” (The Raven). Ultimately, the article concludes that the allegations of fabrication in the dating of Nima's poems do not have substantial implications for the history of modern Persian poetry. اکنون در سال 1402 جایگاه نیما یوشیج به‌عنوان پدر شعر نو فارسی تثبیت‌شده به نظر می‌رسد اما در دهه‌های گذشته جدل‌های درازدامنی بر سر مسئلۀ تحول شعر فارسی و اینکه چه کسی پیشوا و پیشرو این تحول بوده، جریان داشته است. یکی از این جدل‌ها به ادعای دستکاری نیما در تاریخ سرایش اشعارش مربوط می‌شود که در زمان حیات نیما آغاز شده بود و در سال‌های اخیر مجدداً مطرح شد و هیاهوی زیادی برپا کرد. شاعران و منتقدانی از دو جبهۀ مختلف این ادعا را مطرح کرده‌اند: نخست کسانی که در گسست از سنت از نیما تندروتر بودند و نیما را نه شاعری انقلابی که یک اصلاح‌گر می‌شمردند و دوم کسانی که نیما را بیش از حد تندرو می‌شمردند و خود هوادار نوعی تجدد محافظه‌کارتر یا میانه‌روانه‌تر بودند. در این نوشته به تاریخچۀ این ادعا می‌پردازیم و قوت شواهد آن را بررسی می‌کنیم. در جریان این بررسی به نکتۀ مهمی دربارۀ تاریخ‌گذاری اشعار نیما پی می‌بریم. نیما گاهی طرح اولیۀ شعر را به صورت منثور می‌نوشته و پای آن تاریخ می‌گذاشته و بعد از بازنویسی شعر به صورت منظوم نیز تاریخ اصلی را پای شعر حفظ می‌کرده است. احتمالاً همین امر باعث شده که عده‌ای نتیجه بگیرند نیما تاریخ شعر «غراب» را جعل کرده است. در نهایت نتیجه می‌گیریم هیچ‌یک از ادعاهایی که دربارۀ دست‌کاری تاریخ اشعار نیما مطرح شده‌اند پیامد مهمی برای تاریخ شعر نو ندارند. https://hlit.sbu.ac.ir/article_103746_d3186cb8206335f0bf76591620060fed.pdf
