Document Type : مروری

Abstract

For a long time, the word "purism" has been used in the Persian language, but the exact meaning of this word is not clear to everyone. This language issue, which has a close connection with many other issues, such as nationality, history of literature, sociology, psychology, etc., has existed in the history of the language of all nations. In Iran, this phenomenon was a reaction against the artificial and expensive clerical prose, which later intensified when Iranians became familiar with German nationalist ideas. In the year 1312 After Reza Shah's decree regarding the reform of the Persian script and language, the motivation of the supporters of the reform to change and promote purism doubled. In this article, after giving a brief history about purism, the situation and views of some Sarahists have been discussed.
